Quick Start Guide

To take online training courses on this eLearning platform:

  1. Click on Login at the top right and enter your username and password

  2. Access the "My Courses" page (which will display the list of courses in which you are enrolled)

  3. Select the course you wish to take (by clicking on the course name)

  4. From the course page (which will show the course programme and the list of chapters) access the video lessons (by clicking on their title), the documents (by clicking on their name) and the end-of-course certificate (if available).

If you are starting the course at this time, and if any of your personal data is missing from the platform, you will be redirected to the "Personal Profile" page to complete the missing data. If your data is complete, you will be directed to the "Training Contract", the document where you declare that you will follow the course personally and in its entirety, avoiding any attempt to alter the course controls.

Accept the training contract by ticking "I accept the contract" and then clicking on "[ENTRY]".

You will be directed to the start page of the course, where you will see the percentage of completion, the course description, the lecturers, and the detailed programme with all the learning contents to be enjoyed.

To start the course click on "[START COURSE] or on the first highlighted item in the programme.

If you have already started the course and want to continue it, when you are on the course page click on the green button [CONTINUE COURSE].

On the course detail page (showing the course programme and the list of chapters) note that you can access the course content (films, video lectures, documents, tests) by clicking on the content title.

Each piece of content must be fully enjoyed in order to move on to the next piece of content. Be careful, because if you exit an individual piece of content before its end (or if you wish to review a piece of content that has already been used in full), you will have to use it again from the beginning.

During the course please bear in mind that:

  • the films are only considered as completed when you have watched them completely;
  • video lectures consist of a lecturer's film (on the left) and synchronised slides with commentary (on the right). You can access the slides progressively and see previews of all the slides (blue outlines those already viewed and which you can review, red outlines those not yet viewed). At the end of each slide you have to press 'play' on the film to move on to the next slide.
  • The certificate of participation in the course is only available when you have enjoyed all the learning content and taken all the tests provided in the course. (If there is an open-ended test, you must wait for the tutor's assessment).
  • All learning contents are to be used in a strictly sequential manner; the e-learning platform will guide you by showing you only those contents that you can actually access according to the learning path provided in the course.
